Our mods are the nicest people. If you think you can give them attitude like than that than your wrong. You wont get away with it. Goodbye. Not to mention there are children on this site.

I agree. Without the mods here, this site would not be the way it is.
This site is just so easy to walk away from and have tons of great information for our pigs, and it takes them working behind the scenes to keep this site spam and troll free.

I'm guessing you'll fail to understand that it's actually you who's rude, particularly with this flouncing post.

Old? Depends on who you ask, I guess. I'm 28.

And we're not so much judging as sharing experience. Perhaps when you've gained some of your own you'll be able to understand that the purpose of this forum is to better the lives of guinea pigs and not dance around things that need to be said and make people feel good about choices they make that only continue the suffering and pain of animals being sold in pet stores.

Many people don't know the problems pet stores create, and we're here to spread the word. If you're too sensitive and closed minded to understand that, well, we tried.

Oh, I was one of those rude people. Admittedly blunt and to-the-point because I don't like answering the same questions over and over again. I did resort to just posting links to answers. And attempted to quell my irritation. But this post? No, I will not be nice when even if I try to hide my rude bits, we get a post like this.

Recently, there has been a bit of misinformation that's been corrected in threads, so I hope that you read EVERYTHING in the stickies and the main site like I suggested to you.

For what its worth, and probably not a whole lot:

I don't believe any of us were actually rude to this boy. Yes, we were blunt, and yes the discussion did get a bit heated. I am assuming it got so due to the fact this young gentleman was so close-minded and rude, himself.

I personally love this board - it has changed me and my thinking about guinea pigs and for that my piggies and I are truly greatful.

I am sad for the cavies in his care, as they will not be getting the best possible; but I am glad for this board as he was rude and insulting to some of the most dedicated and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of learning from.

Please keep the constructive comments and replies coming! Yes, it may sting me a bit, but it is worth it to give the animals in my care the best possible life.
