As for human sympathy and compassion you can't judge that because you don't know me or what I do for a living.

And with being nice to you I haven't been mean, but you know what you haven't been really nice to me and nice to the other members as well.

Thank you and I have tried. But I just want this deleted so I can move on and give up trying to make friends and trying to understand people here. No one on here wants friends so would a mod PLEASE delete this so We can all move one.

It always ends with people freaking out and wanting the whole thread deleted. It's not up to you I don't think. I'm not here for friends I'm here for my guinea pigs and so are other people.

If you have questions regarding your guinea pigs people will jump on it to help you out.

I would suggest maybe you stay out of the kitchen as it's obviously to heated for you.

You know eschimpf one or two negative checks are not something to get upset about. It is entirely possible that someone accidently checked (-) instead of (+). I have done it before and as far a I know once you have clicked on it you cannot change it. Also considering the number of members here, for all you know someone was just being onery that day and it had nothing to do with your post. Not to mention with a group this size you can not expect everyone to agree no matter what you say.

When you join a group you are expected to conform and follow their rules not that they change for you.

It is up to the mods if a thread is to be deleted, or at the very least... locked.

However, I would like to make a statement. I clicked on "no thanks" for a few of the original poster's comments, because I "respectfully disagree." I have no knowledge of this person, only the posts I've read here. A lot of times, as well, people also need to remember that so much emotion is absolutely lost in text. "Have a nice day," is a classic example -- it could be said with a smile or through gritted teeth.

As such, taking everything to heart will make just about anyone feel sad or hurt. If someone is genuinely unsure that people are being mean, it's not considered rude to ask the other person involved to explain what they mean or how they said it, because it might not be coming across properly.

And remember, be nice to others so that they will be nice back to you -- even if they were mean to you to begin with. Kill them with kindness! ;)

This is ridiculous and pointless. If the voting feature has you this upset I suggest you do some serious growing up, or at the very least sit back for a while and come back with fresh eyes and hopefully you'll see that what you're really upset over is something that's trivial to begin with.

I'm not sure if you're looking for a fight or if you honestly don't know what you're stirring up. At this point I'm not inclined to care.

I'm sorry that you feel "unliked" and "picked on" but folks have a right to their opinions, just as you have been so adamant about explaining that you have a right to yours.

To be a member of this forum, you need to develop a relatively thick skin. Not all the comments are going to be cotton candy. You have to learn to take the good with the bad. If a person gives a comment and you feel it's mean, rude, or whatever, and you start dishing it out as much as you are receiving, it just makes you look bad. It's like you feel a need to retaliate because someone hurt your feelings. People are entitled to their own opinions and not everyone is going to agree all the time. That's what makes this forum interesting. If everyone had the exact same opinion, we probably wouldn't even need to make new discussions.
