I'm sure i have pissed a lot of you guys off and i want to say I'm sorry. There are things that i agree with and some i still don't. I see the good point with this forum but also think you guys go a little crazy over some things. I feel that members here have a lot of knowledge but at the same time criticize, talk down or expect everyone to have this knowledge as well.

So you start off as an apology then move on to bashing very respected members on here? That makes no sense.

If you don't beleive in this sites veiws you are welcome to stay out of heated debates (the "kitchen"), or if you feel the need, to quietly leave the site as you please (don't take that as a "Get the h*** outta here" message in desquise). No one is forcing you into "combat" or anything so don't feel obligued to get into arguments on the site.

Just know that bashing this site won't get you very far here. Myabe read over the rules just to get aquanted with our rules and such.

This site whether you like it or not is very informative. I still think somethings are a little over the top, but that doesnt mean I dont still use this site. I appreciate it because my pigs health and life has improved significantly.

You dont have to agree on everything to be civil.

Some things may "seem" over the top or what have you but there are many very passionate members who care very much on issues such as adopting vs. buying, anti-petstore that sells animals, anti-breeding, pro-animal welfare, etc.

There are some members who forget what "tact" is and can be a bit overbearing on posts and some get downright rude. We mods do not condone that type of behavior from anyone. Everyone should use tact no matter the subject and that's what everyone needs to remember. Yes, threads will get heated from time to time because of those of us who are very passionate on the issues. There are ways to debate subjects without getting downright mean and rude and sounding like 5 year old children yelling or screaming at each other.

If you have not taken the time to read our principles and philosophies, maybe you should so you know what this site stands for and what we are against.

There are going to be things that not everyone is going to agree on and that's what makes this site interesting. But in some areas of care there are truly correct ways of doing things.

You definetely should bone up on this site's philosophies before calling any of us a little over the top, or a bit crazy. It's up to you whether or not you care enough to do whatever the best thing is to do to better your piggie's life.

Im sorry. I guess I've never seen adults so obsessed with little furry creatures so I get confused. I joined this site thinking it was a guinea pig forum to chat about funny things they do and such . i just didnt know every aspect of guinea pig chat would be a C&C cage. But since theres no way to delete your account im stuck here for a while

it never ceases to amaze me the way people proclaim to hate us and this site but can't resist to rejoin if they get caged or banned.

There is no further need for this thread other then to give our little troll a reason to rejoin (not that they actually need a reason). Thread closed.
