New Style!

FINALLY!!!

It's here. If you don't see the new style, you can try one of two things, close your browser and come back in, or select it at the very bottom of the main forum page.

A number of changes.

- Latest 5 threads displayed at the top.
- New left side column. Still working on that content.
- New header at the top. I will be making that site-wide soon.
- Completely new style with new graphics.
- Additional subscription levels for donations.

Wow this is amazing! I love the new style! Very nice looking, and non-gender specific. I like it a lot! It will take me a while to get used to it though. All good changes.

Hmmm. I'm not too fond of the left-hand column, I find it distracting. At least it doesn't show in the individual threads.

No options at this time. Maybe later. I'll be working on some different content for the left-hand column. If you are already a cavy star or champion, I can turn off that section.

I darkened up the the forum and thread title font for more contrast. It's now closer in contrast to the old style.

I did a double take when it loaded, but it looks great, I really like the colors, they are gentle on the eyes.

I'm not sure if the iGive thing at the side was written by you or just automatic but in the list of stores that you can use it with it has Petsmart and Petco? I just thought I'd say because obviously the site doesn't support buying from pet shops.

I have to disagree, its a little to feminine for my tastes. But then content is key, text reads the same even with a pastel backdrop. An option to choose would be appriciated if it can be done without to much trouble.

Yes, I wrote it. We are not going to put Petco or Petsmart out of business. That is not the intent. The idea is to get them to stop selling live animals in their stores. To that end, if they make more money by selling online and less money at physical stores, then great.

I HEART this new style!! Many of the other message boards I belong to have this style and its so nice to navigate, and my favorite thing is the "new posts" feature. Thank you for all your hard work, this is great!
