I've decided to show the existence of the VIP lounge to encourage donations, because they've totally fallen by the wayside.

Ok, does this mean non contributors can access it or that they can just see that it exists to entice them into donating to have access? I'm a bit dense right now due to the gpw members crap going on earlier.

They can see that it's there, but they can't access it nor see the title of the last thread.

I don't know about that. I think it's a good iea to encourage contributions, but I feel kind of excluded. I do plan to contribute soon, but some members don't so isn't this kind of ... not nice to exclude non-contributors?

Contributors donate to get extra priviliges. One of those priviliges is the VIP lounge. Other priviliges include larger sized and animated avatars than regular members. The donations are to raise money to help pay for the site. All one has to do is pay at the least $10 per year to become a Cavy Star to gain access.

I'm sorry non-donating members feel this way but it's the way it is.
