Bar soap I've been looking online this morning for vegan bar soaps. I found this product called Kiss My Face, and their bar soaps looks pretty good. The only thing was that on their website, they have a soap with honey listed as an ingredient, and then under the ingredients it says 'This product contains no animal ingredients'. It's really weird.. Anyway, does anyone have any good vegan bar soap recommendations? I can't order online, by the way.

Re: Bar soap Thanks. The link you gave me wasn't clickable, but I just googled it. Unfortunately, there are no Lush stores in my area. The closest one is almost an hour away, and I don't drive.

Re: Bar soap I don't like how some companies (KMF is only one of them, I consider Tom's unvegan now but it labels that way too, there are plenty others) claim bees aren't animals. I've written to some manufacturers about that before, linking to http://www.vegetus.org/honey/honey.htm , but I wasn't surprised when it didn't change anything. I order a lot of stuff online. I used to buy from http://www.clearlynaturalsoaps.com/ but they raised their bar prices a while ago, so I switched to vegan KMF bars (many of them are vegan) from http://www.vitacost.com/ . Then Clearly Natural raised their liquid soap prices, and I kept forgetting to find and order something else, so when I was running very low I went to a local store and saw Dr. Bronner's. All I knew about Dr. Bronner's was that I find the peppermint tingle uncomfortable (some people love it), some of my friends say it's great, all the liquid and bar soaps are vegan, and the label is crazy and funny. So I figured I'd give the bottle a try (almond, not peppermint). It's runny but extremely concentrated and awesome. I'm going to try diluting it a lot for handsoap and using a foaming pump bottle as someone recommended. I plan to try the bars too. I wish I'd used this earlier.

Re: Bar soap You can always order from Luch online. I'm not a vegan (I was a vegetarian for 4 years but gave up) so I don't know which products specifically are vegan, but I know it lists it right next to each product whether or not it is vegetarian or vegan. Their stuff is absolutely AMAZING! Definitely worth the shipping costs.

Re: Bar soap Ok, so I noticed the best thing today. I found in a little tucked away aisle at my local Zehrs Kiss My Face products. It worked out pretty well for me, and once a town next to mine opens up their Lush store, I'll be sure to check that out. It's good info for any one else in Ontario, that Zehrs carries Kiss My Face. Loblaws may too.

Re: Bar soap Dr. Bronners! Great stuff. My favorite is Peppermint. I have this irrational fear of Kiss My Face products because I used their deodorant and got a horribly painful rash that lasted nearly a week.

Re: Bar soap Lush isn't all vegan. They use honey and milk in a bunch of their products, but they do indicate which products are vegan.

Re: Bar soap I use Kirk's Coco castile soap. You can get it at Cracker Barrell. the website also has where to find it as well. http://www.kirksnatural.com/retail.html Not sure if that will help but here are the ingredients...Coconut Oil, Soap of Coconut, Vegetable Glycerin and Water. It is a little drying as it is soap but I think it cleans better and smells great. Hope it helps.
