Thumbs up New From MorningStar- And Fabulous!

Anyone tried the new Asian Patties yet?

I just tried them. They're fantastic!! I popped one in the microwave, chopped it up and tossed it in a wrap with some veggies. I could imagine they'd be good in a burger with some cabbage as well.

They have veggies going all through them and have that sweet asian flavor to them. (The package says sweet and spicy, but any true spice lover would laugh at the concept. Nothing a little sriracha sauce can't fix).

Sounds delish! I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm always looking for interesting new foods to try. And you're right, a bit of sriracha will fix up most anything.

AH doesn't sound to appitizing to me. I'm not much into asian food. I did pick up some fake sausage patties and some meat crumbles for tacos. DOes anyone know if they're any good?

I like the crumbles a lot and you can do many things with them. The sausage I'm not such a fan of but everyone is different- you may really like them.

PM- Glad to see another heat lover hangin around. I bet you make a mean spicy stir-fry!!

Ooh, haven't seen those yet. I did try the morningstar buffalo wings and Gooooodness they are amazing! I brought a batch to work and laid them out for people; they couldn't even tell they weren't real. Shock for most of them when I told them; In fact, a few didn't believe me!

Re: New From MorningStar- And Fabulous!

I saw those at Publix last time I was in their frozen foods aisle. I usually steer clear of meat substitute convenience foods, simply due to their high sodium content; however, I do enjoy treating myself to a Morningstar Farms veggie burger every now and then (I prefer their brand over other veggie burger brands). Next time I get a craving, I'll have to try one of the Asian patties.
