Hi, I'm new to Vegan, how can i be Vegan?

Hi, I want to be atleast vegetarian, but I'm also thinking about being Vegan. Only problem is, I have no idea what foods vegans can and can't eat. Please, could a vegan explain to me everything about being a vegan? I'm still in the process of becoming vegetarian here, so I have a lot to learn.
-Also, I'm going to bed soon, so a thanks in ahead of time for everyone who post.

OK im sure you know what a vegetarian is? Well a vegan is almost the same thing execpt you dont drink milk or eat anything that comes from milk etc. But I dont think you can wear like leather or anything that comes from animals same with eating things that are from animals^^
