    Product labels

I have seen labels that say no animal testing
I just bought shampoo that says cruelty free

    Is there a technical difference?

    Re: Product labels

I'm not too sure what the difference is there but I do know that the best way to know is to look for those products that say "product and ingredients not tested on animals by or for x company". A lot of companies use ambiguous statements to get around the fact that their product isn't 100% cruelty free.

Yeah. A lot of labels say "Product not tested on animals" but that doesn't say that the ingredients aren't tested on animals. Tricky.
