Ack! I"m so frustrated, I cannot seem to find Vegan cheese anywhere! Every single cheese I find that is supposed to be dairy free has SOME casinate in it, even if its just a small % like they say. I am desprately trying to find imitation Mozarella and Parmesan, and all of them have some percentage of milk in them. Does anyone know if website can ship cheese? And if so, anyone know of where I can find these in Vegan form?
Hmmm well I am pretty sure that you can;t get cheese shipped to you..but not totally sure. Have you tried asking any of the stores that you go to..if they can special order some vegan cheese for you? If stores carry a brand of veggie cheeses there is a chance that that brand has a vegan line as well. Of course there is no guarentee the store would do this as they might not have anyway to order the cheese or just might not have the room, but it might be worth a try.
You could try looking up the manufacturer of the veggie cheese, and find out if they make vegan cheese, and if so, where they sell it. Also try looking up on the internet for vegan shops.

Food Fight Grocery has a website, and they ship several different cheese alternatives. My advice, however, would be to start making your own cheese alternatives. The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook has some good recipes. They don't really taste like cheese, but they fill the role that cheese fills. If you can learn to like homemade alternatives for what they are, rather than wishing for an exact cheese replica, it can be a cost-effective alternative to pricey, rubbery commercial vegan cheese alternatives.
