Vegan cheese, butter, creamcheese.

Hello, I have been a vegan since September 2006 and I have still not been able to find vegan cheese, butter, or creamcheese. I found soy cheese, but it contained egg whites so it was vegetarian but not vegan. Does anyone know where I may be about to find these items? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Thanks for your help. Earth balance and vegan gourmet and not available here but I did find a store here that sells tofutti, so I will go check it out. Its kinda far from my house (the other side of town) but hopefully they will have some good stuff.

There is another brand of margarine here that doesn't contain any animal products, it's made by Becel, ( Celebrity maybe?). Most margarines only contain trace amounts of dairy--here anyway. I really like the Toffuti cream cheese! As far as a cheddar or mozerrella-like cheese, I haven't found anything either Most are slimy and stinky. If you try the toffuti and Earth Balance and like them you could ask your local store to start carrying it. Some stores will do that for you, and either way it doesn't hurt to ask.
