| Re: Vegetarian Cook Books? I haven't really looked into many vegetarian books but the one I do have was bought in Barnes and Nobles. It's also published by Barnes and Nobles. It's called Vegetarians. The consultant editor is Nicola Graimes. It has over 300 recipes I'll give you a detail/brief run through of the book
-Daily food servings (Obviously it's going to be different than the omnivores food servings)
-Description of all the vitamins and minerals
- Detail description of the different categories of food, ex. Fruits, Vegetables,Grain, Cheese and then they have subcategories for those ex. Fruits - citrus fruit, berries. Vegetables - tubers, green leafy. It also has tips on the side like how to pit apricots, storing, cleaning...etc
-Then here comes the recipes. They are separated by breakfast and brunch, soups and appetizers, light meals, main courses, special occasions, tarts, pie and pizza, salads, side dishes, and desserts, cakes and baked goods.-It also has an index in the back
I liked the book a lot. It cost me only $9.98. That's a bargain considering what you get out of the book for less than 10 dollars.
If you want the ISBN code, it's 0-7607-4953-1 |
