| Re: Can I eat my own chicken's eggs? I don't understand the veganism. I uderstand people who decide to not eat meat. But why is it so bad to eat any product from an animal? Like eggs if you don't eat them they will just waste. I can understand milk moreso. you actually have to sit down and forcibable take it from the cows. |

| Re: Can I eat my own chicken's eggs? Well comercial eggs are forcably taken too. Chickens have to sit in tiny cages where they can barely move so that the eggs can drop into a coveryor so they don't have to hire someone to pick them up. And it's very hard to tell if those "free range" eggs are any better since the company can always pull the wool over your eyes. The only eggs I know of that arw 100% indoor free range are Bellwood Farm's turkey eggs. But they don't sell those to the public. The only hatch them or sell them to restuarants. Or they give them to the employees. |

If you don't eat the eggs, you don't buy them, and if you don't buy them, demand is less, and if demand is less, fewer chickens are bred, and if fewer chickens are bred, there are fewer chickens suffering. |
