Looking for shelters/rescue centres in Notts area

Hi there

Well, I've got everything ready for my new guinea pigs. All I am missing, is the guinea pigs.

I'm looking for a list of shelters or the like in the Nottinghamshire area. I've checked my local papers and the internet but seem to have hit a wall.

A friend or a friend hasn't had his GPs neutured and as a result his sows are often pregnant (don't get me started! No amount of explaining how dangerous and unfair this is on the sows will make him see sense) he said he will have a batch of babies ready for new homes in 8 weeks. I'd really rather rescue though. And not wait so long.

So if anyone has any piggies they are looking to rehome (preferably a pair or either sows or boars) please let me know. I am a sensible almost 21 year old with a lot of love to give!

If anyone knows of any rescue centres I could check out (I've already been to one in the Notts area-I have researched etc) in the surrounding areas, please also let me know!
