Green Hay

Hello, when I was at the vets earlier they gave us some green hay but I cant remember what it was called and I would really like to buy some more of it. Can anyone help in suggesting what it is? I think it might be timothy hay but when I looked in p@h I couldnt find anything that looked like it. Any ideas?

Re: Green Hay

You can buy really good timothy hay online in larger bags, the bigger the pack, the bigger the saving.

I recommend Herbs,Hay and tasty treats. all profits go to the piggies in the rescue

and also Sph Pet Supplies, Pet Suppliers Wholesale and Retail, Pet Food and Bedding

Thought you might like to know. I buy Oxbow western timothy and my piggers love it above all other hay!

Re: Green Hay

A very good "green green" grass is from Kleenmamas, the bluegrass. You might give it a try. You can order it online, and depending where you live, it might be cheaper per pound, even with the shipment.
Kleenmama's Hayloft
Anyway, Kleenmama and Oxbow are the best for your piggies.

Re: Green Hay

Yeah, they sell Oxbow Western Timothy in large bags for 10 or 15 dollars at the petstore nearest to me. They also sell Oxbow orchard grass to, which I like better cause its a little softer and better on the allergies. I usually buy my hay in bulk from Kleenmama, and then buy the oxbow stuff, if I run out before I get my next shipment.

Re: Green Hay

I find that my local jollyes sells Alfalfa King timothy hay and also forage and herbage. My piggies love all 3 but it is expensive!!
