Stateside we can pick them up at the supermarket in bunches of 50 or 100. They are marketed for lunch bags, hence "brown bag it". Any store that I have gone in to that uses the small bags has been happy to give me a couple extra for "the boys". |

I have been hoping to see an answer to this about paper bags in the UK. Lots of items seem to be difficult to get hold of here. However, I had a thought, do market stall holders still use paper bags? Prehaps the fruit and veg stalls. |

www.pamperedpiggies.co.uk also sell brown paper bags in different sizes. They can't take orders for a couple of months now though as the owner is expecting a baby. |

Try a local chip shop or take away. My local use brown paper bags for carryouts and I'm sure you could ask them for a pile. I'm sure they'd even be willing to sell you some. Just don't use used one if they are full of salt and stuff |
