Hi Mods,
I don't suppose there is any chance we can make this thread a sticky in the same way we have a sticky thread for finding cubes in the UK?
--------------------------
Ok, so here's my advice for finding Correx (corrugated plastic sheeting, which other names include: Cordex, Coroplast etc) in the UK:
Don't - Waste your time and effort looking for Correx in your usual DIY stores and builders merchants like Wickes, B&Q, Homebase, Jewsons etc. Myself and many people have tried and failed to find supplies at these places and are often met with the reactions:
"Hmm, I can't say I've ever heard of it."
"We can't order it in, because we don't stock it."
"Oh yes, I know what you mean." (and then being directed to 40mm thick clear plastic that is used to roof conservatories).
Do - Contact 'Sign Makers' in your local area. This is where you will find what you're looking for. Your best bet is to look in the Yellow Pages under 'Sign Makers'. You will find different results in the printed Yellow Pages book than what is listed on the Yellow Pages website in some cases, so it's worth checking both. Go to the Yellow Pages website here: Yell.com the UK's local search engine - search for UK businesses and type in the 'Search for box' "Sign Makers" and your postcode in the 'Located in' box.
I paid £15 including VAT for an 8x4 (96 inches x 48 inches [enough for a 2x4 cage with allowance for 6 inch sides]) white sheet of 4mm corrugated plastic from my local sign makers ('Sign Graphics' Folkestone, Kent. Sign Graphics [extremely helpful and friendly]).
I wouldn't pay much more than £15 for that size sheet, so be wary and don't get ripped off.
If you can ask if they have a small off-cut for practising on before you actually start scoring your large corrugated sheet.
I personally suggest not getting a sheet any thinner than 4mm in thickness. 4mm or 5mm is perfect.

Ok, so there's my little bit of advice. I hope it may help some people.
I think it would be a good idea if people post in this thread where they have found their corrugated plastic and their person experiences.
