we used metal grid mesh from Wickes- search for "mesh" on Wickes improvement products for the trade and DIY. We used panels becasuse they were flat and it was easy but they sell cage/aviary mesh in a roll which is cheaper. Is it for an outdoor run? If so then you'll have plenty of time to look for supplies as it really isn't outdoor piggy weather at the moment! |

I just use the same grids as for the cage, cable tied to one another to form a fence, and I fold it up like a concertina when done for storage. I use the cable ties like hinges, if that makes sense. Hope this helps a bit. I suppose if you are struggling you could use fencing or coroplast, but it would need to be weighted at the bottom, ie with a wooden batton or something on the outer side. The problem with fencing is that it often has a coating, like zinc. Chicken wire is bad for that. Whatever you use, as long as it's safe and keeps the pigs contained! |
