Hello! I am in the USA and it seems that only in the UK does anyone sell lice shampoo made specifically for small animals. ("Johnson's") My pigs' lice won't go away with the traditional treatments. Is anyone willing to buy some and ship it to me (obviously will compensate you) ?

Re: insecticidal shampoo Can you not go to your vet and ask for appropriate treatment? Have you tried Advantage? Ivermectin my not get rid of them entirely but Advantage should - see http://www.guinealynx.info/hairloss.html#lice for details. A product like that is far better than the insecticidal shamppos which will leave lots of residue on their coats and then be ingested.

Re: insecticidal shampoo Thanks, Treen, I didn't know about using Advantage. I'll ask my vet to try that on Monday.
