Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption Have you looked on Guinea Pig Rehome - Adopt a unwanted Guineapig (cavy) from a rescue centre? There should be quite a few as Bristol's a big place.

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption All that I really know is on the site. You may wish to proactively contact some rescues near you, or try guinea pig rehome.

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption The SSPCA in Ayr often have pigs. Any particular reason you're looking for a male aby? There are many piggies around looking for homes!

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption I'm looking to adopt 2 bonded guinea pigs. Does anyone know of any rescues in London? Or even Hertfordshire as thats where I work. I'd be willing to drive to Essex or Kent but I'm wondering how much travelling the piggies could handle. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption Wish I could take some of them. There aren't any in this part of the UK as far as I'm aware. I might plan a trip down south to get some across the border, but then again, the trip might be too stressful for them...

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption Here's a list of animal shelters and welfare organisations in Ireland. Some of these may have guinea pigs. Its worth trying the SPCA and Blue Cross. Shelter Directory*-*Hugs for Homeless Animals

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption I am looking to adopt two piggies (much better than buying them from a pet store!). I live in Folkestone/Hythe Kent. If anyone has any piggies around this area looking for a home just let me know. I have a lovely newly built 2x3 c&c cage.

Re: UK guinea pigs available for adoption Thanks daftscotslass, love the nickname by the way, he-he I've already been on that site, and most of those piggies are from the same rescue place; GBH Rescue & Rehoming in Beckenham. So I sent them an e-mail. They sent me a nice reply this morning, they said they have lots and lots of piggies for rehoming right now! So I'm going to set up an appointment to go and visit! I've extended my c&c cage to 2x4 for extra running space. I just need to get my correx and accessories (Pets at home up the road) and I'll be sorted! I'm going to pop into Wickes and see if they are still selling the cubes (hopefully at that ridiculously low price) and buy a couple of packs for the guys on here that can't find cubes. If I do so I will only charge for the amount the cubes cost (so hopefully they are still £4.99 a pack!) and for the postage cost.
