Election Signs? (and cheap cable ties)

I saw a biiig election sign today, which I think is probably made of correx.*rubs hands with glee* But are we allowed to take them once the elections are over? Do they become "public property"? I really want a couple if it's OK!

P.S In B&Q you can get a pack of 150 multicoloured cable ties for 25p (reduced) Well in my local one you can, anyway. I got four packets

Just to warn you about those cable ties! I brought some and used them on my ramp, they snapped as soon as Spencer walked down it! Now he is 3lb 8oz so it is not going to hold up lots of cubes very safely!
