    Question Online uk petshops

I did a search and I could not find any threads allready discussing this topic.

All I want is a few online petshops where I can order some things maybe a few new toys food you know general stuff. Uk only or it might take years for me to get the stuff, and Bromers may have wasted away by then .

Well thats about it but I feal stupid for having such a small thread. I could go on to talk about random stuff but I wont.

    www.petplanet.co.uk
    www.bunnybazaar.co.uk
    www.sphsupplies.co.uk

Or even try www.ebay.co.uk as there is a lot of stuff on there, too.

I have used these ones: http://thistlecavies.tripod.com/id25.html a cavy rescue in Perth in Scotland. The lady runs it from her home, is very nice, and your order comes very fast by royal mail. Also http://www.sphsupplies.co.uk/index.p...4b109a547fd354 sell cavy cuisine, cavy performance and Oxbow hays, plus other stuff. Their turnover of hay is quite rapid according to the lady that runs it, who is very nice, and if you mention the Reading guinea pig rescue in your order, she will make a donation to them. I ordered a 50lb (!) box of oxbow timothy hay from them and it is very good, fresh-smelling and green, and came in plenty of time. If you were picky about the cut you wanted, and emailed the lady that runs it, she might even be able to get you what you wanted since each box (any size I think) has a barcode that tells them when it was harvested.

Oh woops silly me I forgot about Wendi's shop (thistle cavies). Mind you, it's easier for me to go up to her house than order online! Look there before anywhere else!

www.timothyhay.co.uk, and www.westwaleswillows.co.uk are another couple of supplies companies. My piggies didn't like the sample of hay from timothy hay, but it's well worth a try. It's got more stems and therefore more roughage than oxbow, and you only pay a small postage fee. Just a note, timothyhay.co.uk import their hay from Canada, whereas west wales willows' timothy is actually a timothy mix, and may not be as good because it's grown here, according to timothyhay.co.uk, which makes sense. I do have to recommend the 50lb box from sph, so much cheaper than buying smaller bags, but you do need space to store it, because it just fits under my piggies' table! I'm pretty sure that timothyhay.co.uk is linked to bunnybasics and the critterstore. They seem good. Just be wary, I often see toys on these sorts of websites, especially cat balls, that I wouldn't give to my guinea pigs.

I also recommend SPH, I get all my Oxbow stuff from them. Bunny basics is good for toys etc.
