Has anyone heard of Spillers ReadiGrass? I was wondering if it was ok to feed the piggies instead of hay or as well as. Heres the website, if you go to horse feed then feed finder it should be there. (broken link removed)

It's 2% oil, 15% protein and 32% fibre. Does it sound to high in fibre and protein?

Thanks! xx

There are many UK'ers that feed ReadiGrass in addition to their regular hay. I don't see a problem with using it as long as you don't replace your normal hay with it.

I use readigrass and I supplement their diet with it. I feed about 1-2 handfulls a day, but it is not a replacement of hay.
