Is there any shelters just for guinea pigs in the Massachusetts area? I'm looking for closer to the Cape Cod and Bourne area of Mass., I live on the Cape. I was wondering because I can't seem to find any places with Guinea pigs near me. I have a League of Boston Shelter near me but they never really have pigs, and a SPCA, but no luck either.

yeah but no local areas seem to post any new pigs on there. Also I want a younger pig, sense Georgie-Girl Aka GeGi is 5 years old.

Did you check the above sites or www.petfinder.com classifieds? Is there a rescue near you? Or even Craig's List?

An excellent rescue is The Critter Connection. Search petfinder for it.

I recently adopted from the critter connection. I was so pleased with the rescue. Cindy the owner was very kind and helpful. The adoption process was very easy and I now have two of the best piggies that I love soooo much!

I was over Cindy's this weekend and we talked about how happy you were with the pigs. They are in a very good home.

have they ever met someone half way with a pig? It looks like a good adoption center and I would like to adopt from there but I would need to meet at a half way mark.

If your trip is under an hour and a half there should be no need for meeting somebody. If not, try to arrange it.

it would be way more than a half an hour, it takes 2 and a half hours to get the the CT boarder from the Cape.
