I would wash and dry them one time since they're 100% cotton and might shrink.

They DO shrink! I sewed one pad with unwashed uhaul and it shrunk almost 1.5 inches! Now I have a wrinkly fleece top and although it really doesn't matter in the end it annoys me and my sewing perfectionism.

so im definitely washing my uhaul pads thanks for the heads up
maybe sometime this weekend ill start sewing them together
