My two Guinea Pigs started rumpling to day everytime one of my guinea pigs enter the new iggloo and the other one comes in they start to rumble and Zoey one of my piggies will jump and it scares Luna another one of my guinea pigs so Luna gets out or it's the other way around. Does anyone know what there doing? There both females

It's called rumblestrutting. It's a show of dominance, and it is completely normal. My boys do it all the time.

I was wondering the same thing and it makes since now. It is my older female that has been doing it to the younger one. Every once in a while the younger one will lunge towards the older one. Good to know. Thank you.

Our two females came from two different pet stores and they never did any of that before. They were buds from the second they saw eachother.

As frankie said, it's just rumblestrutting. It's normal and it will eventually stop once the dominance order is figured out. It may not stop altogether, but may quiet down a bit. My two females would rumblestrut a lot when they were in heat, so perhaps your pigs are in heat as well if you've never seen this behavior before.

Don't separate them unless they are full-on fighting, ball of fur rolling, chomping out skin and hair. It's normal to see some testing of dominance every now and then, so don't be alarmed if you see some teeth.

Oh oops. L_J is who I meant. For some reason I get the two mixed up. Sorry about that. How embarrassing!
