I recently found out that my female guinea pig is pregnant. Before I knew enough about guinea pigs I got her at a local pet store ( I know its horrible now, but theres not much I can do.). I'm sure she's pretty far along as she's very big on each side. I have been giving her extra water, made sure she gets plenty of vitamin c, and overall taking the best care of her I know how to.

I have not been picking her up, but feel her sides while shes laying down or standing and I can't really feel the babies move. I've had her about two months, so I assume she must be due pretty soon.
Anyone have any advice? Has everyone been able to feel the babies moving around? I can feel the babies in her tummy, but they don't move a whole lot. Maybe I'm just not looking for the right movement?

I can add pictures if it would help.

I'd take her to a vet and have her checked out for peace of mind. You should be able to feel babies by now.

Hold her on your lap, with your hands gently around your belly til she relaxes. You can feel them kick and grind their teeth.

Pics would be good.

Defiantly pregnant. Follow what Rabbitsncavyluv said. I've never had a pregnant Guinea Pig but this one is defiantly pregnant.

Oxbow pellets, about a cup of varied veggies a day, timothy hay and water.

That sounds good. But I've never had a pregnant piggy. But there might be extra things you need to do for a pregnant piggy.
