I have a yard full of overgrown grapevines, and I'm wondering if it would be okay to feed the leaves to the guinea pigs. I'm not really interested in feeding them our grapes; I'm just wondering if it would be okay to feed them the leaves. My piggies are much too special for me to not look into this first. :) :)

Good question! Humans eat grapevine leaves, so perhaps piggies can too.

They can have grapes in small amounts, so I would *think* the leaves would be ok too. Just be careful not to let them have any that have been exposed to bird/bird droppings or that have been treated with any pesticides.

It could be poisinous though, leaves from some fruits and vegetables can be very poisinous so I don't think its best to presume that because we can eat the leaves that guinea pigs can as well. If I were you I wouldn't give it to them unless you know it's alright for sure.
