Can't view profile?

Hello. When I try to view my profile it says I do not have permission to do so. It gives a message saying to check my statues to explain to me weather I can or can not view this 'page'. My statues is cavy slave, so I am guessing I should be able to view my own profile?
so why isn't this working?

Thanks for the suggestion.. But I still can't see it I can see it as long as I am not logged on. But once I am logged on I can not see my own profile. I even tried your link and I still got this message

"Sorry, Hamtaro_bijou, but you do not have permission to access this page.

You can review which usergroups have access to which functions in the LEGEND at the bottom of the main list of forums."

I also tried the settings suggestion. But I can't even change my general setting, not to mention profile settings, as no matter what I get the same message above ^ It is like all I can do is post threads but nothing else...
