Anyone in NJ/Ny/Virgina that needs a kitchen scale

I have an extra kitchen scale that I don't need. If I don't give it away, i'm going to end up throwing it out. It wasn't a lot of money but it did cost money you know, so I don't want to throw money away.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Please feel from to move it.

Good idea! I *think* I have an extra one as well.

Just as an FYI........if any of you have an Ocean State Job Lot nearby, check it for a kitchen scale for your cavies. I know that the stock varies a lot from store to store, but I saw at least three different scales in my local store yesterday.

I'm all the way out here in lovely Michigan...oh well. I would like to find one a decent price that is digital...mine is utter poo. I have a cheap plastic scale with a bowl that the pigs hate when it's weigh-day. That and they've really outgrown the darn thing to get a fair reading with all the squirmies. I keep checking Meijer but their prices for scales are silly.

The one I have that's extra isn't digital though.

I know your post doesnt pertain to me but I have this digital one: Cuisinart® PrecisionChef™ Kitchen Scale with Stainless Steel Bowl - Bed Bath & Beyond It works super well! I have a very fat girl, and there is still plenty of room for her. The bowl is easy to get them in and out of. Its also very easy to read, its price isn't low but with a coupon it was only $30 plus it goes on sale a lot

I have tried various scales and keep going back to this one from BBB:
The Biggest Loser® Digital Kitchen Scale - Bed Bath & Beyond

I just use two sturdy paper plates on top, zero it out, and you're good to go. I suppose that you could use almost anything as a container and zero it out as well. The batteries in this scale last forever and it's certainly the right price.......$20. It reads-out both in grams and pounds.

This is the scale I use. It's digital and weighs in pounds and in grams. I love this scale and it's fairly cheap as well. If you sign up to amazon, you get free shipping.
