Question Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat upper floor question.

I bought the Midwest Habitat cage right when I adopted the pigs because I was in a bit of a hurry and it was fine when one of them was still quite little but now, I find it's a bit too small for the both of them. I'd really love to have an upper floor but the only expansion I've seen of this cage is buying a second one and connecting the two. Is it possible to buy grids and attach it to this cage to create the second floor or no?

i don't see why you couldn't. The cage is about 3/4 of a grid shorter than a normal C & C cage. Just get yourself some grids, a sheet of coroplast, zip ties and couple of pieces of wood molding to hold up the coro. Check out the photos to see how others have put on an upper level.

You could possibly use zip ties and zip tie grids, and use wooden poles as supports for the bottom of the second level. Sorry of I'm not making sense.
