    Confused?

Okay so you know how people say that you have to make sure if you put your pigs outside to play for a while that the grass has to be pesticide free, Well if you think about it, all the veggies from the grocery store, are all grown with pesticides, Im not putting my pigs outside, since I live in an apt anyways, so Im just wondering why people care if the lawn has pesticides on it. And if there was not pesticides on the lawn there would be bugs, and worms, and other stuff.

I wash my vegetables before I feed them to my guinea pigs. Lawns treated with fertilizers and pesticides might still have residue on them. In addition, since lawns are outdoors, there's always the possibility of animal excrement on the grass.

The pesticides they use on the lawn are different from the types they use on food.

Because with veggies you are rinsing them off well, and also people often get organic veggies and such for their pigs and themselves. Plus often the pesticides and such used on grass tend to be harsher because they are not meant for people/animals to possibly eat.

I wash my veggies too, obviously ! Who would want pigs to eat dirt and sometimes bugs, I remember about almost a week ago I found a dead cricket or something that big in my lettuce! Thanks you made it more clear,
