nameless piggies need names!

Here are the 2 babies we rescued and I still haven't come up with good names for them. Any suggestions? Both are female

Cute piggies ! For the names you could do a theme, mine ended up being food names like cookie,biscuit,coco,butterscotch and then there is Maisy and rose (the last two are not really food names, but their names suited themselves). Goodluck with your new piggies and hope you find some good names soon.

I really want to name the darker one "Cookie" and the white one "Cream," but it almost seems too cliched They are just so adorable I wish we could keep them, but we really don't need to have 5 piggies!

The black one -- Sherpa. The white one -- Yeti. I miss the age when their feet are so huge!!

For the one with more black on her I would name Pepper

For the other girl I would name Sugar or Salt

I ended up with 6 piggies, as I visited a place and picked up 4 in 1 go (didn't want to leave them behind). Thankfully they all get along with each other.

i would honestly have no problem having 5 pigs, but people already thought i was crazy with 2 :P we'd have to build a second layer for our cage to keep them all in!

I went all potato chips after we got Jumble (can't have just one!). So we have 5 now. People think we're a little crazy, but it may be the psychotic enthusiasm that we get when we start talking about them. I'm sure I look a little wild-eyed.

haha i can understand that! i had guinea pigs growing up but i never remember them being this fun. now i'm always talking about them and taking like a billion pictures of them because they're pretty much our babies

I'm lucky because at work I have a boss who does dog rescue, and a coworker who rescues dogs and another coworker who rescues bunnies. So if I start yapping at meetings, they totally understand.

My piggies names are Prince, Princess, Oreo, and Brownie. When I saw them, the names just popped into my head. Like Lovemypigs said, I think Pepper fits the one that's more black. And for the mostly white one, I think her name could be Diamond.

I think the grayer one should be named Janine. I thought of it when I saw her. For the piebald (black and white) one, I think Jasmine. I didn't even realize I had a whole "J" thing going until I wrote it... Don't you think "Jasmine and Janine" really has a ring to it?

I named my girls by thinking "if they were people, what name would they look like?" You know how you look at some people, and think, She really looks like a ___! He looks like a ___! I do that when naming my pets. I'm always happy with the results! Then again, I always name with human names...

I like to name my guineas after a theme as well. My girls Sophie and Evelyn are named after French names that mean something dear to me. Like Evelyn is life and Sophie is wisdom. My advice is to look up what names you think of and find their meanings. Or if you want to find names that go with a theme like. Love. Or precious. Look it up online or in a baby book. But most importantly have fun. =D
