    Unhappy Wondering about brown urine?

    Hello,
I have a great little girl, Snow Ball, inherited from my granddaughters. She is about 3 1/2 years old. I just discovered very brown urine yesterday. She is also off her food, eating very little the past couple days. So, I'm bringing her to the vet today. I'm very worried about a UTI or possible kidney failure. Can anyone share their experiences with a similar problem? Thanks so much!

Vet visit, immediately. Also start handfeeding her, and syringe water to her. Go to www.guinealynx.info/handfeeding.html for more information.

Thanks so much! I took Snowball to the vet yesterday a.m., got an ABX, pain meds and a food supplement. Your info on the handfeeding was very helpful. I think I got more on 'Ballie' than into her, but by last night she actually started sucking on the syringe herself instead of me putting it into her mouth. Hopefully all the meds and the supplement do the trick.
