Ok so I have three piggys I am always quiet and calm when I pick up or pet my piggys Rose is my newest guinea pig, she has adjusted to her environment and friends great! But every time I stroke her back she jumps and runs away from me and when I finally catch her she screams when I pick her up and I am always gental..anyone know why she does this??? Is it my fault??

She probably associates it with another guinea pig mounting her which is a sign of dominance. Try petting her on her head instead.

Mine dont like me touching them in the cage, they always run. And my Porcupine will flip if i grab him. Kick scream and throw a big fit till he is in my arms. Does she calm down once she's in your lap?
