Wierd patch on Charlies nose

So I was doing my evening check of all my pigs and found a wierd patch on Charlies (my boar) nose. It looks like there's something sticky at the tip of it causing the tiny hairs to stick together. He isn't scratching and is in no apparent pain as he let's me touch it, but I'm still worried.

What can it be? Maybe celary juice? Or something bad?

Is it hard and crusty? Clear or whitish? If so, it's probably "boar glue" (dried guinea pig semen). He may have been vigorously cleaning his private parts and not so vigorously washing his face afterwards, or if he has an intact male cagemate, his cagemate may have decided to hump his face for a change.

It is hard and crusty but he is the only boar with 3 sows and he is neutered???

Perhaps it's sow mucus plug? When sows go into heat the mucus plug blocking the uterus loosens and falls out. If he had his nose up her butt it could have gotten smeared.
