    hello! i have recently built a cc style cage,

    i have sewn single fleece liners and i am currently lining the cage with puppy pads but its costing alot of money and i am planning to extend the cage so it will cost even more,
    i have been looking at soaker material and have found
    zorb
    matress pads
    removal blankets (eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace)
    towels
    i want to know what is best, also i live in uk so cant get hold of u-haul pads so renoval blanket is my equivilent
    if you live in uk, where did you get yours from?
    please help me

    I don't live in the UK but those removal blankets look very much like U-haul pads and I'm guessing they are probably very similar. I have bought a few of them and they are okay but do shrink a lot and don't hold up well in the washing machine. I would try towels next time, and you might want to try them, especially if you have some old ones or can find some used ones cheap. I considered buying terrycloth fabric at a fabric shop but it was a little expensive.

    I've found that 100% cotton bath towels work well. They are easy to wash and re-usable.

    I use bathroom mats under my fleece. They work great and do not shrink when I wash them. I use mats that do not have the non-skid backing, so it is like a towel but thicker. I also use towels that I fold in half so it soaks up better. Washing the lining is a lot less expensive than buying some type of throw away pads.

    Towels work well, you just have to use enough of them, and add extra's where they go the most.
