How much fleece do I need for a 2 x 4 cage and

2x4 grids

Which measurements would I use?

It depends entirely on how wide the fleece is. Take your measurements to the fabric store and they'll figure it out for you. Buy a little wider and longer than you think you need -- some fleeces will shrink even though they're not supposed to.
