    Fleece tunnel

I bought a fleece tunnel though etsy and my two boys love it. I swear I read somewhere that it wasn't good to keep the fleece tunnels in the cage but now I can't find where I read this. Are they safe for the cages or should they just be used in floor time?

It's fine to keep them in the cages. But if the pigs like to sleep in them, they'll need washing about every day.

To clarify, keep them in the cage as long as you want, but as you see they are soiled, WASH THEM quick because you don't want your piggies running around in it.

keep them until you see many poops or pee spots on or arouund the tunnels, if they are kept to long in the cage they will start to have an amnonia smell which is bad for piggies.

More like once a day for washing a tunnel or a hidey.
