Hidey houses or cozies?

Hallo!

Quick question. I currently have hidey houses for my 3 boys, but often times they don't even sleep inside them. So I was wondering: should I just replace the hidey houses with little cozie beds, or keep the houses and just let them sleep wherever?

I would leave them in there while trying out the cozies. My guys rarely use their houses/pigaloo now that they have fleece forests, but I do catch them in there sometimes.

Mine use their hideys. You could try a cuddly bed and see how they like them.

I put in a cuddle cup but they just used it as a toilet, haha, so I guess they won't work after all!

When I first made a cuddle cup and cozy sack, my boy wouldn't go near them! After all the time I had spent making them, I wasn't going to give up easily.

I started by putting Chester in the cuddle cup while he watched t.v. in my lap. Eventually he accepted it and would hop into it in his cage. I started by putting the cozy sack in the cage, and he just gave it a wide berth and wouldn't go near it. Back to the sofa we went with Chester in the cozy sack to lie in my lap and to be stroked. Success.

We recently went away for a week and left Chester in the care of a neighbor.....first time. Before we took him to her house, I had what I thought of as a stroke of genius......I took a clean cuddle cup and cozy sack and rubbed it on my body so that it would have my scent on it. I thought that my scent combined with his would comfort him. I guess I'll never know if it made a difference.
