More Toys?
After reading a few threads i'm learning that there a lot of toys that are not safe for GP's. I currently have two toys in the cage she never plays with, a salt wheel and a chain thing that hangs from the top of the cage. I want to get her more to switch out for every week. Are there any toys you recommend? (she loves her tunnel though)

Well, Guinea Pigs can't have salt or mineral wheels for one thing. Cut up cardboard boxes into a mansion and stick 'em together somehow. Sorry, I'm not sure how you'd do that. You don't have to put them together. Or else put some stuffed toys in the cage. Or put a cardboard tube and stuff it with hay.

Re: More Toys?
I know a pillow isn't a toy, but I sewed a small pillow and put it in their pigloo. It took awhile, but now they love it. Some people take cat toy balls and fill it up with veggies.

My boys love it when I give them some piece of paper towel roll tube stuffed with hay and veggies, I cut them about as long as a toilet paper roll which can also be used, but you have to cut a slit down them so they don't get their head stuck in it. They also love a Kleenex box stuffed with hay that is open on one side.

Okay, thanks for the helpful replies. I actually have a Hay Tunnel that I purchased from the store that i'm about to put in. I didn't realize the salt wheels aren't good for them, thanks Fizzlepop40. Ill have a look at the link too. Ill have more questions so be ready!

I do use the toilet paper rolls that you slice like a hot dog bun (so the guinea doesn't get stuck in it) and fill it with hay. Both of my guinea pigs love this.
Good luck finding safe toys.

Re: More Toys?
Just be careful with some cardboard. I read a thread about how some cardboard have fiberglass in it.. which would be horrid for a piggy to digest. FYI :]
Toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls are fine though!
