I am not a breeder, nor do I condone breeding guinea pigs. These were not intentional babies. We bought Franny from a pet store, and did not know she was pregnant until a month later. Our other adult guinea pig is female as well (they were both sexed by an exotics vet), and so Franny could not have gotten pregnant that way.
Now we are looking for homes for three pups. I will be keeping them until they find good homes, and I do expect to have (at the very least) a phone interview before they are picked up. The $10 rehoming fee includes whatever alfalfa pellets we have left over and some hay to get you started. They were born October 3rd in the evening, and will not be weaned until October 24th. Please read through
Guinea Lynx and
Guinea Pig Cages (both pro-adoption, anti-breeding sites) before contacting, thanks!
