Flag CraigsList Breeder Ads
Breeders are trying to sell their "Pets" on craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums. Breeders are NOT allowed to sell on Craigslist. Sometimes they try to fool the public by saying they are charging an adoption fee but they are still actually selling.
Check their local CraigsList ads whenever you can. Sometimes it's good to use appropriate seasonal search words, like "Easter." You can also search by animal species (rabbit, guinea pig, rat, etc). I also recommend searching with the word "feeder" as many small animal breeders list their animals as reptile feeders.
Find the ads, paste the URLs here (for more members to flag) and don't forget to flag them yourself.
To flag an ad; click on the link, the ad will open (usually in a new window) in the upper right hand corner (sometimes on the left) should be a box of clickable choices, click on "prohibited". That's all you need to do. If enough people flag it it will get automatically removed. If you click the link and it says "This item has been flagged for removal" then it's already down (Hurray!).
Be certain to check under sales, community and services (and if you have time search all sections). Most of the breeders know they aren't allowed to sell on Craigslist and will try to hide their listings a bit so they don't get flagged as quickly.
UPDATE
The breeders KNOW about this thread and are more creative in posting their ads so that they don't get flagged. Look in FARM sections as well.
Also, we'll be keeping the threads here much shorter so that it's not so easy to link to one long, permanent thread here.

This person is selling a pet they got from a rescue instead of returning it to the rescue. I tried to post this a minute ago, but it got hung up so I hope it doesn't post twice.

Re: Flag CraigsList Breeder Ads
I am not sure if I'm doing this right, but I emailed a lady on Kijiji just to see how the pigs were housed.
She owns Jordan Hollow (Jordan Hollow Cavies)
She has 30 baby pigs at one time. Didn't say how many adults. She puts 1 male in with 5 females to a 2 foot x 4 foot cage and 1 male and 3 females in a 2 foot x 2 foot cage.

Guinea Pig Babies
I called this person to ask about the babies and she asked me if I wanted stock, feeders or just a pet. I assume that she is a breeder. She then preceded to give me a long list of the different kinds she had.
I just flagged it as prohibited as I didn't see any specific "breeder" flag.

I know these aren't guinea pigs, but it sure sounds like a breeder to me. Chinchillas Those poor things look so sad
I wish there was a way to write why we are flagging.
