sneezing, coughing?

my guinea pig has been sneezing ever science ive got him (which was around christmas) and has recently been coughing & having troubles breathing. this usually just happens when im holding him, and happens quite a bit. should i go to the vet?

YES!!! ESPECIALLY if you got him from a pet store. He needs to go to a vet ASAP. Guinea pigs are prey animals and hide their symptoms until the are too weak or sick to do so anymore.

Ditto--to the vet asap. Coughing and sneezing are not normal guinea pig behaviors. Having trouble breathing is an emergency situation.
