Supplies from Pet Stores
So I know, in general no products from Petco, PetsMart, or any animal selling store. However, Petco came out with a new version of the store, Unleashed by Petco, and there is one five minutes from me. Should I buy there because it does not sell animals, or should I Stay away because some money will go to Petco, supporting animal sales?
What do you all think? PS- If it is a no, that is fine, because I have a Pet Valu (a non animal selling store) a Southern States (for buying stuff in bulk) and a feed store for everything else here in my area.

Re: Supplies from Pet Stores
I would stay away, all the money goes back to the same people.
In addition to that, the animals arent the money makers, they make big bucks by selling supplies for the animals people just bought. Think about it, first they have to buy the animal, then they have to pay for food and bedding, it would be money going down the drain unless they either made each animal cost a lot, or they made a lot off of the supplies new owners buy for their new pets.

Re: Supplies from Pet Stores
Yea, I know that. The animals are like 1/10 of the profit, but the store workers bribe you in to purchsing supplies there, and then you go back for more. I was just asking the question because it is a sort of diffrent company, and NONE of the Unleashed by Petcos actually sell animals. But for all I care, I can deff stay away becasue I have many other options that I Have been depending on for years

Different company in name doesn't mean different owners. It's only a branch of the company. Money goes to same people.
If you have a real non pet selling store, go there.
I realized we can perfectly find all we need and avoid these places.
For my part I have to driver further away to get a nice store. But for the sake of animals I don't care.

Re: Supplies from Pet Stores
Yup, I will be avoiding this store at all costs. As stated in my first post, within twenty minutes of me, I have a Pet Valu (a REAL!! non animal selling store) a Southern States (for buying stuff in bulk) and a feed store here.
Thanks for answering
