Unhappy RIP Zorro, we miss you

We adopted Zorro from a rescue earlier this year. He was scrawny and scared when we got him. it took him a good 6 weeks to come out of his shell. While he never did gain any weight his personality blossomed. he and Piglet were great friends, adventuring all over the place together, never apart.

Today poor little Zorro met an untimely death. I really don't want to go into the details because I'm still sobbing, but I believe his death was instant so I don't think he suffered.

he is buried in a back corned in the back yard now.

I can't tell for sure, but I think Piglet really misses him. I don't know if he knows what happened, but he seems to be sleeping a lot. I hope he's not too depressed. My husband suggested looking for a another buddy for him. and I will but I'm still crying over Zorro. And I don't know if Piglet needs time too.

I had just ordered them matching opera (vampire) capes for Halloween. Zorro would have looked smashing in a cape I can't stand the idea of opening the bow with two capes when it arrives

    I can't stop crying

I'm so sorry to hear about Zorro I know how hard it is to lose a pet unexpectedly, I lost my favorite dog this summer.

I hope Peanut is doing okay. Where are you located? I have 3 baby piggies needing good homes.

I'm in New York (City) and will be looking for a boy. but I'm not sure when we'll be ready.

If any one is looking to re-home in the NYC area, or knows of a local rescue let me know and when I'm ready we'll inqure. I did notice someone had a really sweet looking boy up near Buffalo NY, but they's no where near me. I could probably go as far as Albany, but that's it.
