    Question Fleas 'n' Ticks

Skittles, my Netherland Dwarf, has been itching a little more than usual. When I let him out for playtime, his shakes his head a lot- which makes his ears flash from side to side.
He's been itching his back often too.

I only noticed this around a week ago, but thought nothing of it because then he wasn't itching abnormally.

Already combed through his fur with my fingers during 'Petting Time' and found virtually nothing. I saw only two extra tiny grey balls on his ear, so I poked at them... never moved or anything.

We're supposed to visit the vet sometime this month for a pedicure, but I am not quite sure on what date that will be.

So can I buy some flea and tick spray for now, just incase he does have fleas?

I wouldn't. Flea and tick sprays are dangerous for small animals. I'm not an expert on rabbits but there are safe treatments. Your bunny could have mites which will make him itchy. Mites are not visible to the naked eye but can cause many problems and if left untreated, will cause death.
