My precious little kitty
My precious kitty passed earlier today. She was almost 17 years old and lived a long life full of love and care.
What I don't understand is why, why did you have to leave me now? During all this? I needed you. I miss you. I love you.
I love you forever honey </3

Re: My precious little kitty
I'm so extremely sorry for your loss.
When I lost one of my best friends, Kamots, I kept asking myself, why did he leave me now? Why, when I need him to lick (he was a dog) away my tears right now?
I asked myself the same thing when I lost my sweet baby boy Charlie. But I believe our furbabies leave us for a reason, no matter how painful it is.
Your sweet kitty was very blessed to have such a happy life with you. I know how you feel, you are in my thoughts!
Rest in Peace, Lucy

She's still with you...ALWAYS...just in a different form! Close your eyes and you'll feel her sweet licks on your face!

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope her passing was not traumatic, though losses are, by their nature, just that. Know that she is in a better place now, and will be there waiting for you to come and play with her again someday!
I, too, have just lost a 15 year old kitty. It's so tough... she was a member of our family. I just lost a piggie, too. I'm hoping the losses have stopped for a long while! My poor heart is tired.
The best thing you can do is to hold on to your remaining loved ones even tighter. It just doesn't seem right that Love should hurt like this!

Thank you all so much. Word cannot express my pain. I suppose I just need sometime to cope and heal the hole in my heart.

Awww I am so sorry. I lost my kitty Allie last year. She was also 17 years old, she was my first pet, and then I lost a kitten that I adopted just a few months later. A lot of people say that cats aren't devoted pets like dogs are, but that's not true. They can be the most loving of companions, and they stay in your heart forever. They heal you, even once they're gone.

Re: My precious little kitty
You gave your kitty a long and happy life. She is at peace curled up in front of a warm heavenly hearth.
We have to remember that we may feel we need the pets, but it is they who are wholly dependent on us and we are privileged to serve their needs. They are not there to serve ours. We do it because we wish to share our love and express our caretaker instinct, and because we know there are so many out there who need us.
The only real way to help the healing of loss, in my opinion, is to give more care and love to others. There might be a new kitty, piggie, or other animal in your life soon, even though you will always cherish Lucy in your heart.
