Sometimes in a post, I'll see where someone quotes just part of another post and then comments on that. How do I copy/quote just part of a post? Thanks!

This is how I do it. Quote the whole post and delete what I don't need.

Lissie said it. Just quote the post and delete the parts you don't need.
It's in the rules to only quote what you need to but it's not one we really enforce. It does get confusing sometimes when someone wants to only respond to a sentence or two in a long post and doesn't take out all the other stuff when quoting because then you have to try and figure out what exactly they may be responding to.
The other way to do it is just to copy/paste the part you want to respond to and put it in quote tags but you have to remember to put their username in the quote tags too. The front tag would look like [quote=Ly&Pigs].
The closing tag would look like [/quote ] without the space between the e and the ].

That part i figuered out but the multi quote I just can't get. I have read and re read how to do it but I can't get it to work. I'm computer challanged.
Choose the "multi quote" in all of the posts you wish to quote but the last one. On the last post in the series you wish to address hot the regular "quote" button. A reply window will open with all of the posts in it. Please do delete all not relevant material from the quotes and/or break up individual points to make the post you create easier to read and understand
