Unhappy Do I reaaly have to throw this away, he had ringworm?

I know that when a guinea gets ringworm that guinealynx tells you to disinfect ( which I did) and throw away all wood in the cage. My question is, is there a way to salvage a cute toy? It's one of those colorful wooden block toys with a bell on the bottom and I wanted to keep it (it's been removed from his cage already) because it was a cute toy and he would ding it sometimes. Is there anything I can soak it in, or is it a lost cause?

You would need to bake it to disinfect it. Go to this page Guinea Pig Toys and Play and follow the direction for pine cones.
